Dr. Jack H. Gutman

Specialist in Non-Invasive Cosmetic Laser Procedures

Jack Gutman, D.O., FAAFP is the medical director of the Doctors of California Laser and Cosmetic Center in Anaheim Hills, California, where he has maintained his medical practice for over thirty years.

In 1996 Dr Gutman was named an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Western University College of Osteopathic Medicin e in Pomona, California, where he trained students, interns and residents.

Dr. Gutman became involved in Cosmetic Laser Surgery in 2000, and was elected as a Fellow of the ASLMS – American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery in 2007, the highest level to which a laser surgeon can aspire. In addition to being a fellow of the ASLMS, Dr. Gutman also servers on the Awards Committee.

Having performed in excess of 25,000 laser cosmetic procedures, Dr. Gutman served as the Medical Director of MATI – Medical & Aesthetic Training Institute in Irvine, California, where he taught courses in laser physics and laser procedures, as well as the use of Botox and dermal fillers such as Restylane, to physicians and other medical professionals. He has been named to the Botox Network, having successfully met the criteria for inclusion in this prestigious program.

Dr. Gutman plays several important rolls in many aspects of the field of aesthetic medicine, including serving as a consultant to DUSA Pharmaceuticals in the development of Levulan™ photodynamic protocols for acne and aesthetic procedures. Further, he is a national speaker for Quanta Laser Systems. He is also a speaker for Sciton Laser Corporation. He helps to promote the use of the Revage™.

Jack Gutman, D.O. was one of eight physicians chosen for the Thermage® Focus Group at the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery National Meeting in Houston, Texas, in April of 2007. He is one of the few physicians certified by Thermage® to perform Thermage® Face Lift, Thermage® Eyes, Thermage® Hand Rejuvenation, Thermage® Lips and Thermage® Body treatments.

Dr Gutman mentors and trains physicians privately in his Anaheim Hills office, teaching laser and aesthetic techniques. He is associated with the Advanced Vein Center in Orange, California, and is involved in ongoing research comparing the efficacy of various laser treatments.
